Villa Erba is a magnificent villa located on the shore of Lake Como in the town of Cernobbio, Italy. The villa was built in the late 19th century by the Erba family, a prominent silk merchant family from Como.
Today, Villa Erba is used as a conference and event center, and has hosted a variety of international events, including the G8 summit in 2004.
The villa’s interior is adorned with beautiful frescoes, ornate ceilings, and an impressive collection of artwork and antiques. Visitors can explore the many grand rooms of the villa, including the ballroom, the dining room, and the library.
One of the highlights of Villa Erba is its extensive park, which covers over 20 hectares and offers stunning views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. The park features several walking paths, a beautiful rose garden, and a pond with a small island.
